tea by Thé.
When you get off work in Paris you have two choices, heading back home all grumpy because you had a long day and people in the subway are a pain, or, meeting up with a friend and enjoying Paris before Midnight! This is how I ended up re-discovering the Palais Royal gardens in downtown Paris. The not so sunny weather in Paris was, for once, a good thing since the gardens weren't crowded and we were able to sit right by the fountains on the oh so famous green chairs (which you can find in the Luxembourg gardens too).
We sat there talking and sort of lost track of time when the fountain suddenly stopped. The sound of the water had calmed me down so much that I was almost startled when it came to an end by 10 o'clock. This made me realize that I had found yet another spot in Paris where I could escape the hassle of city life (the other one being rue Crémieux of course!).
